Join SIB on Thursday, June 23, for a fun walk around the feeders and ponds of Camp St. Christopher for a beginning birding session, building our skills in bird identification with a local resident bird expert, David Gardner, Director of Environmental Education at St. Christopher Camp & Conference Center. This activity is intended for people who are new to birding and want to learn more about the local birds they see at their feeders or around the island. Please note we will only be walking a short distance around the property. Bring sun block, bug spray, a hat, water and binoculars. If you don’t own a pair, David has a large collection of good-quality Eagle Optics binoculars to share. Your fee is a donation to St. Christopher’s and goes to a fund that pays for local kids to come to the camp.
If you are not yet a SIB member, you must first become a member by following the instructions here (https://seabrookislandbirders.org/contact/join-sib/).
Once you are a member, please complete the form below to register no later than Tuesday, June 21, 2016. All registrants will receive a confirmation letter on Wednesday, June 22, 2016.
