Photos from Birding Crooked Oaks Golf Course

Seabrook Island Birders used golf carts to lead sixteen (16) members and friends around Crooked Oaks Golf Course on Sunday July 18, 2021. It was great fun and all the participants were a great help, finding 25 bird species!  My personal highlight was watching the Mississippi Kites gliding overhead, eating on the wing, and even seeing one perched!  Or maybe, it was the Red-tailed Hawk that flew past us and perched on a tree until it spotted its prey.

We hope you enjoy these photos from the day taken by Dean Morr and Dieter Lantin! Please consider joining us for our next event!
