Guess who’s coming to dinner…?
This bird is bringing takeout in its distinctively adapted talons. It’s often seen around Seabrook on lofty perches enjoying a solitary feast.
Make a guess by posting on the comments and watch for our Bird of the Week article on Sunday!

Osprey, sometimes drops its food on my deck when I’m having breakfast.
Wow! And do you or George saute or broil the fish when you eat it? LOL
Osprey Don’t they have spurs on their talons take makes it impossible for them to drop or release catch.
What they do Andy is catch the fish perpendicular to beak. Then when they are over my deck, they flip it so it is straight & more aerodynamically correct.
I mean flip in talons in directions of beak.
